Interesting lectures and presentations on the solar energy theme will be on offer in the top-ranking support programme at glasstec 2008.
This is the case for example at the specialist symposium held within the framework of the glass technology live special show, which is expected to attract over 4,500 participants. For the first time two of the total of five conference days are exclusively devoted to the themes of photo-voltaic and solar thermal energy. In this connection, the themes covered include solar glass, solar modules and methods of building integration.

The international Architects’ Conference on the theme of facade technology entitled "Transparency! Glass and Facade technology" will also cover a wide range of exciting contents connected with all aspects of the solar energy theme. Here renowned architects, engineers, planners and facade builders will provide information about the latest developments in the areas of design, engineering, research and climate design.
